Decorative concrete has always been the smart option for anyone who would rather transform a slab than replace it. With over 20 years in acid stain and decorative concrete, Damon starts every job the same way: a consultation on colour possibilities, and on which techniques will get the result you want given the condition of your concrete.
The range is wide. An old 1971 bare floor at the Hungry Honu café in Kailua Village became an ocean. A worn grocery store floor went back to a fresh copper. A yurt used for community gatherings got a floor its owners say brings everyone joy. A pool deck left in a mess by another contractor was hand painted over into a lava flow.
It is also repair work. Blotched stain touched up and topcoated, faded and discoloured stain covered and restarted, spalling lanai repaired into a lasting surface, a carport slab refinished so it could become a room.
Stained concrete is durable and low maintenance, with a seamless finish that resists stains, scratches and wear. Premium materials go into every floor, and regular sweeping with an occasional mop in a mild detergent keeps it looking new.

We have a big driveway that was originally done in three parts, three textures, three colors...a mess. Damon came in, designed a color and texture to our liking and quickly and professionally completed the work. He did so on time, on budget and the results exceeded our expectations. Great work Damon! Damon with mana mandala studio was very knowledgeable in assisting us remove plaster and fill holes in the concrete.
